Friendship Bracelets

Summertime is just around the corner. Summertime is when best friends do activities together. It is a time to make memories and trinkets to remind us of those special memories.

One of those favorite trinkets is the friendship bracelet. Take a look at this method of using a cardboard loom to make a bracelet. No complicated patterns to try and braid, just turn the loom and move the yarn or embroidery floss one notch over!

DIY Sewing Cards

A favorite of younger kids are sewing cards. You can use cotton cord, yarn leftover from other projects, extra long shoe laces, etc. Kids will have fun and not even know they are working on fine motor skils. Aunt Annie has some free patterns and directions on how to make durable cards. Try it out and then get creative and make your own designs.
