to be part of the ‘Moving Matters!’ Residency Program.
‘Moving Matters!’ brings collaborative and innovative movement and arts-based residencies into Greater Hartford schools.
Qualifications: A practicing artist in all movement and other performing and visual arts disciplines. Must be over 18 and willing to participate in a background check.
Preferred Skills:
-Experience teaching in educational settings (paid training also available)
-Cultural competency in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
-Team-orientation as well as ability to work independently
-Excellent time management skills

Half-Day Program is seeking
a part time Dance Instructor
We are looking for someone to teach a codified modern dance technique.
The dance curriculum includes ballet technique (Vagonova), Modern (Cunningham, Horton, Graham or Limon), Improvisation, Composition, Repertory, Dance Skills and Dance History. Elective classes are offered in Pointe, Jazz, and other styles.
The successful applicant will be required to teach a codified Modern dance technique and another class within the curriculum.
