CDA, ADA and local dental society 2022 dues invoices have arrived in mailboxes across the state. You can renew your tripartite membership online anytime. It’s convenient and simple. Rapid At-Home Testing Kits
To make sure Coloradans have the tools they need to keep their families safe, CDPHE is providing free over-the-counter tests directly to people’s homes. The program uses Abbott BinaxNOW™ rapid antigen tests that show results within 15 minutes. These tests can be acquired and used by your staff. Each order contains four tests. They are not intended for patient use. Read more

Special Olympics Seeking Special Smiles Clinical Directors
Special Olympics Colorado is looking for dentists and dental hygienists, with a current Colorado license, to become clinical directors for their Special Smiles Program. The director is responsible for working with local Special Olympics Programs and other volunteer health professionals in coordinating a Special Smiles screening event in their region. Read more
ADA Executive Director to Retire
Kathleen O'Loughlin, D.M.D., the ADA's first female executive director, will retire at the end of 2021, ending a 12-year run. Dr. O'Loughlin is helping Raymond A. Cohlmia, D.D.S., dean of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and former ADA Board of Trustees member, make the transition to executive director. Dr. Cohlmia assumed the executive director role on Nov. 15.

Seeking Grant Application Reviewer for State Senior Dental Program
Grantees of the Colorado Dental Health Care Program for Low-Income Seniors (Senior Dental Program) are required to submit a new grant application and supporting documents. These applications must be reviewed by a committee. Approximately 28 to 32 applications are expected to be submitted by Feb. 1, 2022. If you are interested in serving as a grant application reviewer in mid-February 2022, please contact Molly Pereira at the CDA at 303-996-2844 or molly@cdaonline.org.
