1 hour CLE applied for

Only $10 per attendee

In honor of Legal Professionalism Month, CDLA and CTLA are hosting a special one hour CLE discussion regarding how CDLA and CTLA members can work together to craft Rule 30(b)(6) deposition notices as well as designations and objections, to streamline litigation, and avoid discovery dispute conferences. The presenters will discuss strategies for efficiently taking and defending such depositions to minimize the need for court involvement and maximize the discovery of relevant information to move cases forward expeditiously. Attendees will get ideas about what the other side sees as “boilerplate” language that might be avoided; about how to address disputes that do arise in the most effective way; and if Court intervention is required, and ideas for how to streamline that interaction.

CDLA Coat Drive

As our Colorado weather starts to turn, we're asking members to spread the warmth and donate their new or gently used coats for the annual DRI Coat Drive. The donated coats are given to shelters in the local area to be distributed for free to people in need.

Collections will take place from now until December 31.

Please consider encouraging your firms as well as neighboring businesses to join in the drive. Please collect the coats from your firm or building and deliver them to Messner Reeves LLP at 1430 Wynkoop Street, Suite 300, Denver, CO 80202.

For larger collections, CDLA will coordinate with you to pick up the coats. Please contact Glenna Donegan at [email protected] to schedule a pick-up.

For questions about the coat drive, please don't hesitate to get in touch with DRI Representative and CDLA Board Member Tanner Walls at [email protected].

What to do if your email service provider is blocking our listserv postings
An unfortunate consequence of everyone's email servers fighting against the barrage of unsolicited and/or malicious email is that some spam-fighting systems are now blocking CDLA listerv posts and emails. If you find yourself suddenly not receiving posts, the blacklist that your firm or email service provider uses may prevent the delivery of messages from CDLA's listserv posts. We recommend members add their preferred Listserv email address(es) and [email protected] to their "whitelist" or Safe Senders list.
