College Board Members' Conference  
The CDN College Board Members' Conference will take place on Tuesday 25 October 2016 at the Hilton, Gl asgow. The conference will provide opportunities to network, share experiences and learn from recent developments in the sector, through a mix of presentations and workshops. We are delighted to announce that the Minister for Further Education, Higher Education and Science, Shirley-Anne Somerville, will provide a keynote address.

Supporting Continuous Professiona l Learning and Development    
The promotion of high quality teaching and learning to build capacity and de ve lo p the lecturer and college support staff of the future sits at the core o f th is new Frame work from CDN. Its approach and content will be mapped against the Initial Profession al S tandards for College Lecturers. 

CDN Annual Awards 
We will be announcing the shortlist for this year's CDN Annual Awards in early September, for the following categories:  
  • Advancing Equality Award
  • College Business Award
  • Developing a Regional Curriculum Award
  • Digital Education Award
  • Employer Connections Award
  • Essential Skills Award
  • Health Promoting College Award
  • Student Citizenship Award.
The winners will be announced at a black tie awards dinner on Tuesday 22 November 2016 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow. Book your place here.

Bullying - What Can I Do?  
Research shows that young people want to be able to choose actions that help them cope, find out what that means with this webinar. It is delivered by Scotland's anti-bullying service, respectme, and will explore how to support students affected by bullying behaviour.
