CDOIQ-Japan Symposium Coming This December

Shiga University proudly presents the 1st CDOIQ Japan Symposium on December 4–5, 2025, in Hikone, Shiga Prefecture!

With the theme “Harnessing AI and Data Transformation with Governance – Revitalizing Regions with Next-Gen Innovation”, the event will gather participants from Japan and across Asia, including industry leaders, sponsors, and data-driven students. As Japan’s first university to launch a Department of Data Science in 2017, Shiga University continues to lead in data science education and innovation.

Event Overview:

Day 1 (Dec. 4): The symposium will kick off at the Lake Biwa Otsu Prince Hotel, beautifully located on the shores of Japan’s largest lake. An evening reception will be held at the hotel to welcome all attendees.

Day 2 (Dec. 5): Chartered buses will transport participants to Hikone Campus of Shiga University, for a full day of sessions and networking.
