AWS 2024 CDO Insights: Data & Generative AI

By Thomas H. Davenport, Randy Bean, and Richard Wang

We're excited to share insights from a global study to understand how CDO role is evolving, what the key priorities and roadblocks are for CDOs, and how they tackle generative AI. One of the key findings from this study is that CDOs need to show a visible value for their efforts—in part by emphasizing analytics and AI. As a relatively new C-level role, CDOs have more topics than ever to focus on, which makes it difficult to standardize the job description. We found that CDOs also need to be flexible and agile to change their charter with changing technologies, such as generative AI. Download and read the full report here.

For those who participated in the CDOIQ-AWS SURVEY, feel free to reach out to the team (team@cdoiq.org) to claim your complimentary virtual pass.
