A NOTE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
From the CDRW President;
 
I want to thank all of the volunteers who helped out at the Chelan County fair booth. We sold some ‘Log it~Graze it~ or watch it burn’ t-shirts and had lots of interest shown by women at joining our club.
While we’re not doing well getting volunteers for phone banking (only 2) we do have a few that will be knocking doors to get out the vote for our candidates.
 
We have so much to do this next 3 ½ weeks. Our motto is “Don’t let Seattle Politics infiltrate our beautiful area”. Some of the most radical groups are being bussed to our area to door bell for Ann Diamond and Kim Schrier. We voted to donate to our local candidates and even our Judicial candidates we know are Republicans. I hope you will join us in helping them move on to victory November 6 th .
 
Our area has change and is moving to the left. We can stop it but it’s going to take everyone to help! Voter turnout will more important than ever before.  Our donations went to "'Real Options pregnancy Clinic" for October. We gave them $450 worth of onsies, outfits, sleepers, bottles, pacifiers and a car seats. They loved them and it will go far with their newborn layettes.

For November we are donating to "The Bunker". They are asking that we make our contributions in socks. Just that simple!!

Our speakers for October we from Royal Kids. Brian Burnett was the speaker and told us how this group is Christian oriented and fund a one week camp for foster kids each summer. He explained how this camp changes lives for these kids through building trust and self confidence.

April and Brian Burnett are the new representatives and Steve and Suzanne will always be there to help but are stepping down from their position.

Deanna Walters Our November Speaker
Chelan County Assessor and our very own CDRW Treasurer, Deanna Walters, will be educating us on property taxes in our area. This is a do not miss opportunity to have a full understanding of just how our taxes currently work and what changes may be coming down the road.
