Konica Minolta Receives Two BLI PRO Awards

Konica Minolta announced it has received two Buyers Lab (BLI) 2019 PRO awards for the company's AccurioPress 6136 and AccurioPress C3080 digital presses.

"Buyers Lab's PRO awards celebrate the 'best of the best' of what we test over the course of a given year in the production segment," said David Sweetnam, director of EMEA/Asia research & lab services, Keypoint Intelligence. "Based on the high marks that the AccurioPress 6136 and the AccurioPress C3080 delivered in critical areas such as job management and media handling, along with other strong results, it's clear that both models are two of the best production devices we tested in the last year."

Technology in the years ahead...

In a recent study conducted by Intel®, the Intel Next 50 Study analyzed the responses of 1,000 consumers to determine prevailing perceptions about the future of technology.

One of the most interesting findings is that while consumers eagerly anticipate new technologies, they remain most excited about those with which they are most familiar.

Consumers expect to rely most on smartphones (87 percent) in the future and they also ranked PCs (84 percent) and smart home technology (84 percent) among the most important technologies in the next 50 years. It's not surprising that this ubiquitous tech came out on top-because frankly, who can imagine living without it?
