Cybercrime damages set to cost the world  $6 trillion annually by 2021

A new bar has been set for cybersecurity teams across multiple industries to defend clients IT environments and keep them safe from cybercriminals. Cybercrime targets are typically small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which are now the primary target of cyber-attacks.

Recognizing a problem is the first step in solving it. In the past, many SMBs did not believe they had a cybersecurity problem, however, today many executives in those businesses know what hackers will focus their attention on and exploit them; particularly if they do not have adequate cybersecurity defenses in place.

The rampant growth in ransomware and increasing volume of cyberattacks has changed the "it won't happen to me" mentality.

What About Bob?

B ob Allen began his career at CDS Office Technologies, January 23, 1989.  I doubt he knew then he would eventually celebrate his 30th anniversary with us.  Bob began his career as an MFP technician coming to us with experience in that field.  Bob played with our company softball team, as many of us were young at that time.  Those were some fun times for sure.  He also participated on our company bowling team for many years, until we all got a little bored and too old.

Bob eventually was promoted to Service Manager and held that position until he asked to move into our sales department.  At first, Bob sold strictly IT hardware products over the phone mainly.  He then moved into our outside sales force selling copier/MFP products.  And today, Bob is a senior sales person selling MFP and IT projects.  Bob also is a production print specialist for CDS.  Bob has a lot of experience in not only our business, but certainly the industry.  Through this journey he has learned and become a very valuable person with extensive knowledge in most everything we sell and support here at CDS.  Please congratulate Robert Berry Allen on 30 years of service.

Thank you Bob from all of us for your continued years of excellent service!
