SPARK Wyoming Internship
SPARK Wyoming out of the Health and Bioscience Innovation Hub is seeking an intern with a mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering background to design and assemble prototypes of a mechanism to administer droplets to the human eye.
This position will
- Research and propose components, source, and acquire
- Propose detailed design and design variations
- Review progress and technical details frequently
- Assemble prototypes at bench in engineering lab
- Test and document performance, including developing test methods, test apparatus, and test validation steps.
The candidate should have skills in Solidworks, MATLAB, bench level assembly, testing, and data recording.

Computer Science Volunteer Opportunity
For over ten years, the Microsoft TEALS program (Technology Education and Literacy in Schools) has helped high schools build equitable, inclusive computer science programs with a focus on serving students excluded from learning technical skills because of race, gender, or geography. Volunteers are the foundation of TEALS. They partner with classroom teachers to team teach computer science. A TEALS volunteer can ignite interest in computer science for students and inspire the coders and creators of tomorrow.
TEALS will partner with over 600 schools for the 2022-2023 school year, and we are looking for professional programmers and advanced students who can support high school CS classes locally and remotely. SolTerra Engineering - Civil Engineering Internship
SolTerra Engineering, a Wyoming based Construction and Geotechnical/Civil Engineering firm, is looking for Seasonal and Summer employees for various positions. Available positions include Quality Control Technician on numerous highway construction projects throughout Wyoming, and Laboratory Technician positions in Laramie and Riverton Wy. The starting wage for all positions is $16 per hour, and there are higher wage possibilities for any personnel able to work into the fall. Overtime compensation is paid at 1.5 times hourly wage over 40 hours. For all highway construction positions travel hours are paid, lodging is provided, and per diem is $30 per day. Typical duties will include determination of in place density of compacted hot mix asphalt and soils by nuclear and core method, particle size analysis and hydraulic testing of concrete. Associated laboratory testing includes mixture design of concrete, warm mix asphalt, hot mix asphalt, chip seal, and determination of soil properties. We are happy to work with university students and faculty on internship credit opportunities.

Crusoe are looking for people to deploy, repair and maintain our data centers in the oil field.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe operations and maintenance of the Company’s digital flare mitigation units and gas-fired reciprocating equipment
- Install computer equipment by connecting multiple units to the network on an oil pad
- Work with the Field Operations and Site Manager to make sure that the Company’s mobile data centers are operating correctly, focusing on optimizing the run time of the units.
- Develop and manage collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues and increase productivity.
- Partner with the network engineering team to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with the Field Operations and Site Manager to establish your schedule awareness.
- Work no more than 40 hours per week, unless otherwise directed in writing by the Company’s Field Operations and Site Manager.
- Perform other duties assigned to you by the Company
