Engineering and Computer Science for 3D design work and App development:
Hypo Footwear is a young sneaker company based in Laramie, WY and Denver, CO.

Hypo is looking for interns to help in development of a 3D foot-bed with 3D printing technology. Compensation will be in the form of Hypo product as well as consideration for future opportunities with the company.

Sock-liner / Insole:
All sneakers come with one sock liner with one dimension of either memory foam, flat or arch support. The insole is picked out in the design phase of the sneaker process. The insole is what your foot feels when putting it inside the shoe. It dictates a lot of the comfort and feel despite what the outsole is made of.

3D foot-bed technology:FootB3D™ is state-of-the-art technology developed with
orthotic experts. It is a 3D scanner that scans your foot and determines your exact fit for the the sock liner for your feet; which now makes it ready for your own feet. Apps are being developed with this technology that clients can use from their home.

Qualified Candidate:
  • Pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in engineering or computer science.
  • Motivated and with strong interest in technology of sneakers
  • Good communications skill and attention to detail
  • Passion for 3D printing
  • Computer Science background a plus

SUMMARY:
Field Engineer Interns and Safety Interns will work alongside Field Engineers and Safety Managers, respectively, to provide necessary support to the project teams. Interns may fill one position or the other (i.e. FE Intern or Safety Intern) or may be asked to do a combination of duties.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (May include but not limited to the following) 
  • Promote and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures
  • Communicate with the Project Management regarding safety and quality matters.
  • Plan and conduct daily activities in a highly organized manner to ensure all data are properly and accurately recorded
  • Inspect the work and help establish punch lists and or safety compliance
  • Attend the weekly general safety meeting, weekly supervisor’s safety meeting, and daily Gang box meetings, as required
  • Assist with the inspection quality of work performed during the daily activities of the overall construction on wind, and solar projects
  • Interface with field foreman to maintain an open line of communication and reporting monitor job progress
  • Work with the field engineering staff acting as their field representative ensuring construction complies with the QA/QC requirements
  • Participate in the jobsite R4 Safety Committee as required
