Upcoming CEBC-Hosted Webinar

"Minding the Implementation Gap: Variability in Fidelity Measurement and Pre-Implementation Supports within Evidence-Based Psychosocial Treatments"

Presented by Cricket Mitchell

Thursday, May 14, 2020
from 10:00-11:00am PT

Evidence-based psychosocial treatments are heavily featured in recent legislation, including the Family First Prevention Services Act of 2018. While proliferation of such interventions holds promise for improving behavioral health, there is a well-documented 'voltage drop' in effectiveness once interventions are transported outside of research studies. Further, many implementation efforts fail altogether. Using programs rated by the CEBC, this presentation explores the extent to which program purveyors leverage implementation science to support implementation efforts.

Child Welfare Trauma Training Toolkit

The CWTTT training series is grounded in concepts of adult learning theory and deep appreciation of the need to transfer classroom learning to the field. With that goal in mind, the CWTTT provides two foundational trainings, the Trauma 101 and Trauma-Informed Child Welfare 101, to all-levels of the workforce to create a shared understanding of trauma and its impact. Following the foundational training, supervisors and caseworkers are provided with specific courses focused on practical skills and strategies. Lastly, supervisors engage in four months of consultation to support caseworkers in their efforts to employ skills and strategies to their daily work with children, youth, and families.
