Parent Volunteers Needed for our annual CEC Parker Career Day - Feb 29th


CEC is excited to once again host the annual Career Day at CEC-Parker. Students will have the opportunity to speak with various representatives in a variety of careers in a 2-part Career day on Thurs, 2/29 from 2:15-3:15. The fair portion will consist of a number of industry reps and parent volunteers at individual tables representing their career and speaking to students in a casual setting about their educational pathway and career journey. Please complete this ONLINE INTEREST FORM if you are available and willing to inspire students in learning about career or trade pathways. Thank you to those who have volunteered in the past. We would love to invite you back and to those who may be volunteering for the first time, thank you in advance for your time and willingness to support career development for our students!

March 15- Last day to apply for ACC Graduation

Dean's List

Full-time students with a 3.80 unweighted semester GPA, or above, at the end of each semester will be placed on the Dean’s list. Honoring students by unweighted GPA recognizes students’ excellence in their classes wherever they are, whether they are in high school or college classes. Eligible students must be full time and enrolled in at least 4 classes (defined as 4 high school classes, 4 college classes, or any combination) OR be enrolled in at least 10 college credits. Eligible students must have a 3.80 unweighted GPA (we do not round up), must pass all classes (no failing grades or incompletes- even if they are not GPA weighted) and have no behavioral or academic integrity violations.

CECP is so excited to be hosting the Career Discovery Day at the Parker campus for students on Thurs., Feb. 29th. Students will get the opportunity to explore different industries, degree paths, and meet professionals in a variety of careers.

Failure Award Scholarship

The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver is awarding a $20,000 college scholarship to a graduating high school senior who demonstrates innovation, creativity, fearlessness, and a willingness to risk failure in the pursuit of something new.

The Failure Award Scholarship rewards a Colorado student who embraces the spirit of creative risk taking with scholarship dollars that can be used at any accredited, post-secondary institution or trade school towards educational expenses.

CU Denver LYNX Art & Media Summer Camp

Want to learn more about LYNX Camp? We are excited to offer three LYNX Camp information sessions for prospective campers and families to learn more about our camp programs, meet our LYNX Camp Administration staff, and ask questions!

Our LYNX Camp information sessions will be held over Zoom and we do required registration for these sessions. Register for one of our Information Sessions here

CSU Summer Camp

The Venture Validator Summer Camp is a week-long program hosted by the CSU College of Business Institute for Entrepreneurship designed for incoming 7th-12th grade students to explore what it takes to become an entrepreneur in an engaging, and fun space.

Transportation Coordinator

Now Hiring – Transportation Coordinator


CEC Transportation Services is hiring immediately for a Transportation Coordinator in the CEC central region. This position will support transportation solutions for our CEC Aurora, Castle Rock, and DC North (Inverness) schools. Pay for this position starts at 50k a year with a flexible, school based work schedule.


 The ideal candidate will have:


  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of transportation logistics, preferably with school transportation.
  • The ability to learn quickly.
  • A collaborative approach to problem solving.
