Coming Soon - Spring State Testing

April is spring state testing. CEC Parker will be assessing students on the PSAT 9, PSAT 10, and SAT over April 16 -17. All full time students are automatically enrolled for spring state testing and able to take the exam for free. Detailed information about state testing, the form for opting out, specific days of testing and timing and option for part time students to test will be emailed to families by mid-March. Please be on the look out for it!

Fencing After School Program

En Garde! Fencing is coming to CEC Douglas County North!

Fencing is an Olympic sport involving quick thinking, agility, poise, and speed. It also develops discipline, respect, maturity and good sportsmanship, qualities that carry through to our everyday lives. Fencing will be available next fall semester as an after-school program, sponsored by Fencing Academy of Denver. ALL are welcome, including teachers. The six-week beginner class will cost $99. President Award Scholarship

Please see the details for a $2500 scholarship opportunity for graduating seniors. Please review the requirements to apply. All submissions must be turned into the Head of School, Keshia Medellin. The applications are due at 4 pm March 6, 2024. No late submissions will be accepted.

• The President’s Award Scholarship competition is open to all CEC high school graduates in the current school year.

To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must:

• Be enrolled in the CEC high school they state on their President’s Award Submission Cover Page.
• Be graduating from the CEC high school they state on their President’s Award Submission Cover Page that school year.

Honorees will be announced during each school’s graduation ceremony and awarded a $2,500 scholarship and framed award. The President’s Award Scholarship honoree will be allowed access to awarded funds after graduation.

• Funds must be used exclusively for college tuition, books, or required course or career materials.
• CEC pays the postsecondary institution directly for tuition and fees
