It's time to get your Textbooks for the
Fall Semester!

Here are the options you have when it comes to getting your textbooks:

  • Borrow - Once you know what textbooks you need, you can request to borrow your books from our little office library - please reach out to your advisor with book title and ISBN#.
Textbook requests will be reviewed and we will let you know whether or not we have the books you're looking for.
If we have the books your need, they can be picked up during our Open House on August 14th - or you can make arrangements to pick up on a different day.
  • Rent - If we don't have the requested textbooks, you can rent them through the community college bookstore, or through a textbook retailer like Amazon or Chegg.com. Rental books come with a rental contract and must be returned to the place they were rented from, per the rental contract, at the end of the semester. Renting books is usually a more affordable option than buying.

  • Buy - If the books aren't available to borrow or rent, you may purchase textbooks through your college bookstore, or an online retailer, like Amazon, etc.

Textbook questions? Please contact your advisor.

Once each semester, students can request textbook reimbursement from CEC for purchased and rental textbooks. Watch the CEC Westminster Newsletters this fall for the Textbook Reimbursement policies and link that will open 10/2. Be sure to save your receipts and syllabi or materials lists to submit with your Reimbursement Request!
