Textbook Return & Buy-Back Day

Do you have books that you had to purchase for a class that you don't want to keep? Or a physical textbook you requested reimbursement for, or a textbook you borrowed from our Westminster Office?

Textbook Return & Buy-Back Day will be on:

Wednesday, December 11th from 9:00am - 3:00pm

at the Westminster College Direct Office.

Due to a change in financial policies this year reimbursements go through additional steps prior to approval. As such checks for approved reimbursements will be cut at the end of the semester or beginning of the next semester. WE WILL NOT HAVE CHECKS TO GIVE OUT ON DECEMBER 11TH, REIMBURSEMEMENTS WILL BE MAILED AT A LATER DATE. The main delay for textbook requests is due to needing grades, as we only reimburse textbooks if the student passes the class.

If you have a question about reimbursements, please email

Teresa Burshek at teresa.burshek@coloradoearlycolleges.org

You MUST complete the Reimbursement Forms prior to returning your books to the office. Sign up to bring it to our office:

Please note: The reimbursement window for e-books, access codes, and laptops will close on December 6th. If you purchased a laptop this semester and you forgot to request reimbursement for it this fall, please hold onto your receipts and submit your request during the Spring reimbursement window.

Dates TBD.

Did You Receive a Bill from the Community College?

Sometimes the community colleges will send a bill, or you may see a statement with a balance owed when you log into your community college student account - it may even show past due. You do not need to pay this bill.

Billing is reconciled between the community college and CEC each semester.

Should you ever exceed your funds for the school year, CEC will bill you directly, after the school year ends (Summer 2025).

If you have any questions or are wondering if you need to pay a bill you received from the community college, please reach out to your advisor to confirm, before you pay. *Unless you are taking additional classes as self-pay.
