NACAC College Fairs
NACAC is back with another collection of college information fairs for all students! At each virtual fair, students attend college presentations, learn about their options, ask questions, and demonstrate interest. NACAC is offering 8 fairs this semester: Apr. 10, Apr. 20, and May 2. Four of these events are smaller Focus Fairs and are especially for students with special interests or residing in specific regions: STEM (Mar. 7), Performing & Visual Arts (Mar. 16), Western US (Apr. 10), Southeastern US (Apr. 20). Students are invited to attend as many as they would like, and it is all provided at no cost!
Interested in STEM at CSU?
On March 26, 2021, CSU will be holding a live, virtual shadow event called Stick With SWE (SWS). SWS is aimed toward high school juniors and seniors interested in STEM. The high schoolers will be paired with a current SWE undergraduate member and get to observe classes, learn about campus life, and learn about SWE. SWS is open to everyone, regardless of what gender they identify as.
Stick with SWE is a great opportunity to connect with current engineering students, learn about how to get involved in college, and get a personal look into a day-in-the-life of an engineer at CSU. This benefits students by providing them with a personal tour guide studying the major that most interests them and a run-down of the benefits of being involved in clubs on campus.
Princely Behavior
Ms. Prince would like to remind all students to PLEASE:
  • USE THE CROSSWALK!!! Ms. Prince is not looking forward to scraping anyone off the front bumper of a car - please use the crosswalk rather than cutting in between vehicles!
  • Sweatpants are great.... for Gym or Yoga. You must change into your regular, dress-code-approved apparel after your workout. Remember, CEC students are the BEST - so let's look like it!
  • Please remember that Hats and Beanies are not appropriate to wear indoors. We need your brains in good working order, and it would be a shame if they overheated. Also, Dress Code says "no"!
