CECFC Middle School Newsletter
April 30th, 2021
Earlier this week, House Bill 1295 was officially introduced at the Colorado State Capitol. If passed, this damaging bill would significantly hurt public charter schools by making it virtually impossible to challenge district decisions against them.

Please take two minutes to learn more about the bill and add your voice to the thousands of charter school families, staff, and supporters telling legislators to vote "NO" on this dangerous proposal.

We should be basing all of our education decisions as a state on what is in the best interest of our students. This legislation would fundamentally undermine that.
Thank you for adding your voice to support the power of choice for students!

Each week we will be posting updated information regarding classes for all middle school students. Please click the button below to view the class updates.
MS Final Exams will be held on May 5th and 6th, and will continue on May 10th and 11th.
Specific information about the exams will come from our teachers.

We will celebrate with our students participating in our annual "Field Day" which will be held on Wednesday, May 12th. Kona Ice will be on campus to serve our students with refreshing ice treats!
Remote students are invited to join us, either all day or starting at 10:00am when we go outside for games. Remote students who want to attend Field Day should contact their elevate teachers.
This year's 8th grade promotion ceremony will be virtual, airing on Friday, May 14th at 6pm. Watch for a Teams link to be sent closer to the date. 8th grade students will be bringing home a congratulatory yard sign on Tuesday*.
We're so proud of our students for all they've accomplished in this very difficult year!

*Remote 8th graders can pick up their yard signs in our front office on Tuesday, May 4th.
Library books are now due! Please return all library books to the library now to avoid late or missing book fines.
You can still buy your yearbook... we have just a few left!

  1. Check with Ms. HP in room 326 on the 3rd floor to see if you've ordered a yearbook yet.
  2. Bring $45 (cash or a check written to CECFC) to school.
  3. Give check to Ms. HP or one of your teachers and we will make sure you get a book the last week of school.

We can't wait for you all to see them!
