NO CELL PHONES
CECFC MS rules require that cell phones are silent/off and put away during the school day. Because they are used similarly, smart watches should also be put away or left at home. Cell phones and smart watches will be confiscated if used during school hours.
STUDENTS BE AWARE...
Students, please be aware that if you walk over to the Safeway shopping center (including the Dollar Tree) and leave your backpacks/belongings outside of the stores, you risk the possibility of these items being stolen. Please keep a watchful eye out for your personal belongings and take them with you wherever you go.
MIDDLE SCHOOL VEX ROBOTICS
STATE COMPETITION

Last weekend, CEC Middle School was represented at the Colorado State VEX Robotics Tournament. We had four teams that went to state this year. The teams were a combination of 6th through 8th graders. Each member worked at filling in a role on their team, be it programmer, driver, builder, coach. Through adversity, constraints, and quarantine, our teams finally had some robots that were ready to compete.
Our teams had a good showing as they all made it into the Final Elimination Tournament after an exciting qualifying round. During the Final Tournament, we had teams make it to Semi-Finals. One of our teams made it all the way to the Championship Match. They were not able to become tournament champions, but all of the CEC middle school teams did a great job at representing themselves and CEC Middle School of Fort Collins!
