CONGRATULATIONS 8TH GRADERS!
This year's 8th grade promotion ceremony will be virtual on YouTube, airing THIS EVENING, May 14th at 6pm.

Please keep an eye out for an email and text around 4pm which will contain a link to watch the ceremony.

We're so proud of our students for all they've accomplished in this very difficult year!

Dear Students,
You made it. Take this moment to stand still and feel your feet on the floor and the sun on your face.
Remember you are capable. You can do difficult things.
Remember that many difficult things are worth it.
And most of all, remember that sometimes holding steady against the wind and just surviving is enough.
Congratulations and have a beautiful summer!

SUMMER SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES!
Summer Sessions for Current 6th & 7th grade students:

Current 6th and 7th grade CECFC students are invited to participate in our summer session, May 24th - 28th and June 1st - 4th, from 8:00am - 3:00pm.

Summer session is a great way to catch up from this year or get ahead for next year! Students who have failed one or more classes this year are strongly encouraged to attend.

Students will strengthen math and reading skills while discovering what it takes to create and run a food truck. Teams will create a menu, design and build the food stand, and create a logo and other marketing tools. Do yourself a favor and join your FRIENDS in the FUN of creating and learning how to run a food truck!

Good food. Good fun. Great learning!

CHARTER SCHOOL FAMILIES -
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Earlier this week, House Bill 1295 was officially introduced at the Colorado State Capitol. If passed, this damaging bill would significantly hurt public charter schools by making it virtually impossible to challenge district decisions against them.

Please take two minutes to learn more about the bill and add your voice to the thousands of charter school families, staff, and supporters telling legislators to vote "NO" on this dangerous proposal.

We should be basing all of our education decisions as a state on what is in the best interest of our students. This legislation would fundamentally undermine that.
Thank you for adding your voice to support the power of choice for students!
