ID badges that were scheduled to be issued this past Wednesday, will now be issued for students later this coming week. It is recommended that these badges be worn or put away safely. Your student(s) will need their ID badges for checking out library books, paying for school lunches (school lunches are currently provided for free), and public bus transportation. The first ID badge will be issued free of charge.
There will be a $5 replacement fee for any lost or damaged badges.
If your student will be late, absent, or will need to leave early, please call our attendance line at (970) 682-2007. You may also email attendance at FCMSattendance@coloradoearlycolleges.org. Please be sure to give the date, student's name, grade, and reason for absence. Attendance will be updated within 24-48 hours.
We know that sometimes appointments for your students must be made during the school day. In order to minimize classroom interruptions, please call ahead or send a note with your student to the front office for early dismissal.  Please try and schedule your student's pick up time during passing periods. You can see our bell schedule HERE. Your student will give this pass to his/her teacher and be dismissed in time to be ready and waiting for you in the lobby.
CECFC MS will once again not be admitting visitors on campus without an appointment scheduled. Safety and security is our number one priority for our students as well as our staff. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we appreciate your understanding. To schedule an appointment, please email the staff member directly at: firstname.lastname@coloradoearlycolleges.org
Parents, please remind your students to ALWAYS use the designated crosswalks when crossing our busy streets. Please do not allow your student to jaywalk at any time. As students return to in-person schooling, traffic will get busier making our surrounding streets more dangerous to cross. Do not park on the north side of Monte Carlo (Kruse Elementary side) and expect your student to cross the street to meet you, and do not allow your student to jaywalk across the street to the Safeway parking lot. They must use the crosswalks at all times. Parents, please also be aware of our students as they cross our streets. Our students safety is our priority!
If you have been trying to email our MS staff and received a "Message Blocked" response, this is in error. We have been having technical difficulties and are working on correcting it. Please reach out to Mrs. Fretwell or Mrs. Cable if you are still receiving this response, and they will forward your messages to staff.

Pursuant to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Colorado Early Colleges Fort Collins (CECFC) has a duty to identify, refer, evaluate and if eligible, provide a free, appropriate public education to disabled students. For additional information about the rights of parents of eligible children, or for answers to any questions you might have about identification, evaluation and placement into Section 504 programs, please contact our CECFC 504 Coordinators.
CECFC MS rules require that cell phones are silent/off and put away during the school day. Cell phones will be confiscated if used during school hours, however, students may use them before and after school hours if needed to call home.
