Child Care Careers
The Child Care Careers Series is getting a makeover! The series meets the Formal educational requirements of the CDA Competency Standards and is provided by CECPD. There are currently six courses in the revision process; they will have updated curriculum and activities, as well as new trainer and educator guides. Child Development I has already been completed, take some time to check it out. You can create this course and submit it for approval on the Oklahoma Professional Development Registry.
A second course from the Child Care Careers Series, Daily Programs for Infants and Toddlers, is ready to be piloted by a few good educators who are willing to provide an extensive critique of the entire curriculum. Stay posted for more information.
In November 2015, CECPD will be offering a Train the Trainer course for these newly developed courses.  Once you complete the Train the Trainer course, you will be eligible to teach these new courses.  So sign up today!
