A Note from the Counselor

Hello Golden Eagles Community!

October is National Bullying Prevention month. We are doing activities in Elevate and English classes and offering students a pledge to support others who have been hurt or harmed, to treat others with kindness, to be more accepting of peoples’ differences, and to include those who have been left out. Help support the effort by talking to your child about kindness, accepting differences, and inclusion. Staff Spotlight!

CECW Families,

This week, CECW would like to spotlight Mr. Burshek, our Paraprofessional! Mr. Burshek received his bachelor's degree in sociology at CSU in Fort Collins. Some of his hobbies include fiction writing, poetry, games of strategy, and riding his motorcycle. We are overjoyed to have Mr. Burshek as part of our Golden Eagle family here at CEC Windsor! 

Veterans Day

CECW Community,

On Friday, November 11th, we are observing Veteran's Day here at school from 8:00-10:00 AM. We will be on an activities schedule this day, with shorter class times in order to have time in the morning for a flag ceremony, songs, presentations, and veteran acknowledgments.

We are looking for volunteers to help with the event planning and day-of activities. Please contact Paige Gust at 970-590-2002 or [email protected] if you are able to help or contribute.

On this day, we will be acknowledging those who have served and are still serving, so we invite current active duty members and veterans of our students' families to join.
