A Note from The Assessment Coordinator:

Dear CECW Families,

Final exams are just around the corner! As you start thinking about Winter Break, please refer back to our 2021-2022 academic calendar. Final exams go through 3:00pm on December 15th. . On the two days prior to exams, students will also be taking another round of MAPs assessments to measure growth from the fall. Both final exams and MAPs assessments are extremely important benchmarks for your students. Please plan accordingly.
The final exam schedule is available here and will be appearing in each newsletter leading up to exams. If you have any questions or concerns in the meantime, feel free to contact me via email at rebecca.bolding@coloradoearlycolleges.org.

Happy Studying!

Ms. Bolding, Assessment Coordinator

Reminders:

Warm Clothes:
Now that the weather is starting to get colder, we highly recommend you make sure your student has a coat with them each day. If the weather is 20 degrees or above without rain or snow, we will be outside for recess and PE.

Sock Drive:
Student Council is putting on a Sock Drive to donate to the people experiencing homelessness for the cold winter approaching! Socks can be any size from children to adults. They must be brand new and cannot be out of the package or worn. Please turn socks in by Friday November 19th.

Traffic Guidelines:
At CECW, it is our number one priority to keep our staff and students safe. Our entire student body is picked up by 3:06 pm each day. Please stay in the car line until you get to the front of the building, where your student(s) should wait for you to pull up. Students should NOT cross the parking lot while there is a drive line. Thanks for helping to protect students and staff in our parking lot.

Marlie's Emergency Stuffies

In 2018, Marlie lost her dad in a motorcycle accident. At the hospital, she was given a stuffed animal to help her cope with her loss. Marlie started to provide stuffed animals for "kids who are going through hard times like me." This year the stuffies will be going to UC Health Hospitals and Realities for Children and her goal is to raise over 1000 stuffed animals! Please donate to help Marlie reach her goal! You can scan the QR Code in the corner to donate as well!
You can bring any stuffed animals to the front office to be collected by November 19th.
