Penny Wars

Dear CECW Families,

Next week, we are starting our penny wars fundraiser to raise money to fund our spring dance! Students are asked to bring in their coins or bills to the front office and turn them in to the containers that have their designated grade level on it. The winning grade level will win a movie party either during study hall or after school during CMAS testing week. The deadline to turn coins in is Friday February 17th. More information on the spring dance will be forthcoming. Thank you for participating in the penny wars fundraiser!

Happy coin collecting!

Staff Spotlight

This week, was National Counselors Week, and CECW would like to spotlight Mrs. Faye, our wonderful school counselor! Ms. Faye earned her undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University a "long" time ago. She worked at Walt Disney World and was on the opening team for Disneyland Paris. Her next adventure started with graduate school at Colorado State University where she earned her Master of Business Administration degree. She spent time in the business world as a market research analyst and a freelance technical writer but once kids came along, she took the position as Chief Operations Officer of the Faye Family. After her three kids were grown, she went back for another master’s degree in school counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. Last year, she landed her favorite job ever as the counselor here at CEC Windsor. In her free time, Ms. Faye loves to scrapbook with her bestie and binge watch Netflix documentaries. She loves to spend time with her husband, kids, friends, and newly adopted rescue dogs. She loves to be in the mountains and visits the Great Lakes of Michigan every summer to see her family. We are so happy to have Mrs. Faye here, and glad she has made CECW her home!
