A Letter From The Dean of Instruction
Dear CECW Golden Eagle Families,
Testing begins next week! Due to the changes Colorado has made to state testing this year, we have had to modify our testing schedules for each grade level.
Please click the appropriate link below to see what your student's schedule will look like next week, as your student will be asynchronous, remote learning at least two days next week:
Please note that if your student(s) receives testing accommodations, their schedule will look different.
Testing Reminders:
-
Cellphones: Students are prohibited from having cellphones on their person while in the testing room. Students are encouraged to leave cellphones at home. Students that choose to bring their cellphone will be required to place them in a secure bin upon entering the room.
-
Breakfast: Students are encouraged to eat a healthy breakfast before testing. This helps keep them full, awake, and focused.
-
Testing Times: Testing will begin immediately after school begins at 7:50am. Please be on time each day for testing.
-
Bussing: Busses will run normally all week in the morning and the afternoon except on Wednesday, April 14th, the afternoon busses will run at 12:10pm.
Sincerely,
Ms. Elliott

In-Person Learning Reminders
Students need the following items daily:
-
Masks – It is a good idea to have more than one mask, just in case there is a sneeze inside it, it gets dropped at recess, etc.
-
Water Bottles – the drinking fountains are still not available, but the water bottle fillers will be accessible.
-
Their own technology devices – we are hopeful to have devices on campus for the students to use soon, but the delivery date of this technology is still not known.
-
All textbooks and supplies - For the majority of classes, books, notebooks, and supplies will now be kept in the classroom and students will use online resources for homework.
Each student must continue to be screened before entering the building. Please fill out the self-screening form found here or use the QR code to access this each morning by 7:15 am. This will give us time to print the list for the check-in process. If you cannot complete the self-screener electronically, please print this form, complete the survey, and send it to school each morning with your student.
Students that have any of the following symptoms need to stay home and join their classes remotely via Teams:
- Fever or chills
- New loss of taste or smell
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
Please call or email Ms. Dee Baker, Attendance Clerk, to report all absences (including when a student will be remote learning, unless you have chosen the fully remote option for the remainder of the semester).
