Chatham Education Foundation (CEF) attracted more than 350 contestants to attend Trivia Night’s ten rounds of brainteasers on the tenth anniversary of the game, which was held November 4th at the Chatham High School gym. This high-energy community event raised over $35,000 to benefit Chatham’s six public schools.
There was no shortage of creativity with team names such as Chatham Quiz-ine, Barbie “Ken” Beat You At Trivia, Let’s Get Quizzical!, National Lampoon’s Quizmas Vacation, and This Means Wario. In the end, the “You’re a Quizzard, Harry” team emerged as the overall winner of the game, with its contestants dressed up as Harry Potter characters.
The Chatham Education Foundation extends its sincerest gratitude to the charismatic Chris Tomaino, who returned to emcee the event, game masters, Zahrah Khan, Nona LeRoux, and Erik Metviner for their masterful creation of trivia questions, CEF’s Events & Fundraising Chair, Andrea Caserta, and the many volunteers and friends of CEF that made the event run smoothly including guest judge-Tracey Tango of Art with Heart. A special Thank You to Debbie Woerner Real Estate Team of Coldwell Banker, Dr. Barbara Fodero of Chatham Orthodontics, Dave Weaving of StretchLab, and Brian Siegel Architects for sponsoring the event. Many thanks to Summit Soundz for their superb audiovisual support. And last but not least, thank you to Alan and Christopher Routh for their fine photography.
As we close the chapter on another memorable Trivia Night, we turn our attention to another special anniversary. Please save the date for CEF’s 30th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday April 27, 2024, at Park Avenue Club.
