The City of Monterey, Museums and Cultural Arts Commission, and the
Monterey Conference Center are pleased to announce the upcoming
Alvarado Gallery exhibit
"Celebrate Monterey in Fabric Art Quilts"
featuring the Pixel Pals, a group of six local women who have been
meeting monthly in Monterey since 2007 to explore
digital techniques using Adobe Photoshop Elements to create art quilts.

This exhibit will highlight art quilts designed by combining photography,
quilting and computers to create digital art images of
Monterey scenery, animals, vegetation and events. The group has been in
exhibits at the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles and
Seaside City Hall. Members are: Gudny Campbell, Gloria Hatton,
Elizabeth Hull, Cheryl Smith, Anna Mae Gazo and Roberta Goulding Brunet.
