On June 16, 2022, I will have been the fortunate owner of Sun Valley Quilts for twelve years. Wow…I can hardly believe that we’re starting Lucky 13 together and how fast the past 12 years have gone by. When I made the purchase, I had never made a quilt in my life and I really had no idea how quilting would so totally encompass my life in such a totally great way. I bought the shop as a business venture for myself that happened to be a quilting/machine/furniture shop, and I just didn’t know how much I didn’t know. But with your help and the crew’s help and understanding, we’re happily still here, despite covid issues. It has been a wonderful experience for me; you and the crew have become my family, and I’m one of the luckiest people around. I cannot thank you enough for your support, experience- sharing, encouragements along the way, trust in us and so much more. I have my menagerie of kids at home (puppies, parrot and horse), my friends at the shop, a creative “talent” that continues to grow and stretch my brain, the BEST CREW anyone could hope for (and I’m always glad so many of our customers/friends recognize this and tell both the crew, me, and your friends!), lots of positive interactions and support, great fabric vendors as well as machine and furniture friends, and so much more. My heart is gratefully full.

I thought long and hard about our usual annual celebratory party, and I’ve decided to go in another direction for us all this year, one that I hope will make you happy indeed. You liked our 40% off panel specials last week, so as an additional incentive for you to share this celebration with us, I will offer our panels, including sale panels, at 30% off.
