BUMP, SET, SPIKE - SALUTE TO OUR SENIORS!

Tuesday, our CCC Community honored our Lady Ironmen volleyball seniors. Seniors were recognized on the court and presented with personal signs and flowers by their families for their volleyball accomplishments.

The Lady Ironmen faced Lutheran East High School and had three hard-fought, closely contested games. Unfortunately, they didn't secure a victory, but battled to the very last point! Their determination and hard work are undoubtedly valuable qualities in sports, fostering both individual growth and team cohesion.

Great job Lady Ironmen and congratulations again to our senior athletes and their families!

A FATHER & SON JOURNEY OF FAITH

Thursday, our students participated in the First Friday Club of Cleveland which is a luncheon and presentation hosted by the Catholic Community Foundation at the Center for Pastoral Leadership in Wickliffe, Ohio. The guest presenters were Rick Schultz, a successful entrepreneur and his son, Fr. Patrick Schultz, Parochial Vicar at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Wadsworth, Ohio. The inspiring and personal journey shows their unwavering love for each other, their family and their path of devotion to their Catholic faith.

In describing how his journey began, Fr. Patrick shared, "I was invited to a high school retreat at our home parish, St. Mary's in Hudson by a girl I wanted to date. I went to the retreat and in a quiet moment felt the Lord introducing himself to me. I fell in love with the Lord that weekend and wanted to learn more." Rick said, "the day my son celebrated his ordination Mass as a Catholic priest, I could only describe the moment as pure joy coming from the love of God."

Our students were moved by the Schultz family story and were excited to be part of the event!

ANNUAL POLISH FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND

Do you enjoy pierogi, kielbasa and POLKAS? Well, this weekend the CCCHS campus will be engulfed in the sights and aromas of Polish tradition and delicious delicacies! The vibrant community of Slavic Village is partnering up with St. Stanislaus Parish to celebrate its annual Polish Festival, a beloved tradition that promises a weekend of cultural festivities and jubilation.

This year's festival which is taking place, Friday October 6th - Sunday, October 8th, is particularly special as it coincides with the 150th anniversary of the Shrine Church of St. Stanislaus. For a century and a half, St. Stanislaus Church has stood as a beacon of faith and community, and its milestone will be celebrated with great reverence throughout the festival. Visitors to the festival can expect an array of food, activities and entertainment throughout the weekend. Come celebrate the Annual Polish Festival this weekend!
