The California State Board of Pharmacy is requesting your assistance with completing a job analysis survey concerning the duties you perform as a pharmacist practicing in California. The board's examination committee will develop examination items based on the information collected from the survey responses. Such surveys enable examination items to reflect current technologies, methods, and practices.You may access the survey here.

 

Covered California Lowest Premium Increase

Covered California announced that it expects an average premium increase of 0.8 percent for 2020 in the state's individual marketplace, the lowest such rate change since the health insurance exchange started business in 2013.Read more...

CPhA's 2019 Election Results Are In
The 2019 CPhA election cycle has come to a close, ballots have been tallied and certified by the Elections Committee, and we are pleased to announce the results. New Business Submission
With CPhA's 2019 CPhA Policy Committee meeting July 11, 2019 and House of Delegates taking place from September 14-15, 2019, we ask that you review existing CPhA Policies and propose new policy submissions or current policy amendments. We have provided the 2018 Policy Manual as well as the Reference Committee Report following the 2018 House of Delegates. To complete the new business submission, please click here.

CPhA Awarded Extension for ACPE Accreditation
The ACPE Board of Directors accepted the report of the ACPE Continuing Pharmacy Education Commission at the June 2019 meeting and has awarded CPhA continued accreditation on the basis of a comprehensive review of the CPhA Continuing Pharmacy Education program for a maximum term of 6 years. The extension recognizes CPhA's adherence to the ACPE standards for CE providers based on a CPE Commissioner review, an internal (ACPE staff) review, an external (Field reviewer) review, a review of all records including correspondence, Activity Description Forms (ADFs), complaints (if any) and third party comments .
