Apply for Special Accreditation to UN 2023 Water Conference

The historic 2023 UN Water Conference will take place at UN Headquarters in New York, 22-24 March next year. The CEO Water Mandate will collaborate with UN DESA to conduct special accreditation for private sector organizations seeking to attend the conference.

The first window to apply is now open and will remain so until 15 July. A second window will open in Q4 of 2022. The Mandate encourages all businesses interested in the conference to explore the special accreditation process.

Mandate-Launched Initiative Wins Award

A project of the Mandate-conceived California Water Action Collective (CWAC), receiving an LA Better Buildings Challenge award for its work in the water sector. The project uses smart sensor technology to allow for real-time, remote locating of toilet water leaks. A prime example of collaboration, the project involved Fortune 100 companies, water utilities, and various non-profits.

Water Resilience Coalition at Davos

Leaders of the Water Resilience Coalition convened at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, this May to advance global corporate action on water. In tandem with a meeting of the coalition's CEO Circle, the initiative announced its ambitious strategy to improve water resilience in 100 water-stressed basins  and enable equitable access to WASH for 300 million people by 2030.
