Hotspot Heroes Virtual Celebration
Hotspot Heroes celebration
On 21 October, CEPF celebrated 10 grantees as “Hotspot Heroes” via a virtual event featuring interviews with each of the grantees, videos paying tribute to their achievements, and comments from GEF CEO and Chairperson Carlos Manuel Rodriguez and CEPF Executive Director Olivier Langrand. CEPF especially wants to thank Carlos Manuel and Kelvin Alie, Conservation International’s senior vice president for field partnerships, who hosted the event, as well as all our Hotspot Heroes for giving so much of themselves to biodiversity conservation. The event really epitomized what can be achieved through the partnership of our amazing grantees and our dedicated donors.

Miss the 21 October livestream? You can watch the recording of the event here. Short on time? This short video introduction to the program provides a great overview.
