Resume Workshop

Join us on Wednesday September 7, 2022 from 12:00-1:00 pm in EERB 255 for a CEPS Career Services resume work shop.  In this workshop we will cover the basics and best practices of resume design, formatting, and what you should include in your resume.  In particular, we will be working on resumes that are well suited for the upcoming job fairs. 

Etiquette Dinner

Join us on Wednesday October 12, 20200 from 6:00pm -8:00pm at the Holiday Inn in Laramie for a 3-course dinner provided with instruction on cultural, networking, and dining etiquette.

The deadline for getting your ticket is Wednesday September 21st.

Dress code is business casual to business professional - whatever you have that you consider nice clothing and would align with a potential profession you wish to enter.

MilliporeSigma - Chemical Engineering Quality Control Intern

MilliporeSigma is hiring a quality control intern. Ideal candidates will be working on a degree in chemical engineering or similar. This role will support Quality Control Release Testing of items manufactured at the MilliporeSigma-RTC site and other assigned projects. Work closely with senior team members on multiple aspects of testing, documentation and data review to support the release of Certified Reference Materials, Reference Materials and Analytical standards to the market. Activities are aligned with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034.

Lead Technician - Western Research Institute Laramie, WY

The Lead Technician position is centered around discovery and characterization of new alternative non-petroleum based asphalt binders and has aspects related to recycling, upcycling and circular economy.

The focus of the Lead Technician will include:

• Loading, assembling and disassembling and cleaning of reactors using a fluidized sand bath, autoclaves and other reactors which require high temperature and high pressure experiments and equipment
• Experiments and sample testing using analytical testing and mechanical physical testing equipment
• Proper cataloguing, preserving, and shipping of samples
• Mixing and pouring of hot asphalt, high shear mixing and of hot asphalt and other blending
• Performing distillations, filtrations, solvent extractions, solubility tests, and solvent removal using a rotary evaporator
• Performing organic synthesis
• Participating with other team members in assessing solutions to experimental designs and testing issues
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of experimental apparatuses and laboratory equipment, as necessary

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or closely related field (Associate’s degree with relevant lab experience will be considered) and lab research experience, including work with high temperature experiments.

Civil Engineer - T-O Engineers

Cheyenne, WY

T-O Engineers is seeking a motivated EIT to join their Cheyenne team.

Candidates need to have an EI/EIT Certificate and CAD experience. Under the direction of experienced project managers, the EIT will work on various design tasks, preparation of drawings and reports, and construction administration and observation. Strong computer and communication skills are a must.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• EI/EIT or PE Certificate
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation a definite plus

Field Operations Technician - Crusoe Energy

Crusoe co-locates mobile data centers with stranded energy resources, like flare gas and underloaded renewables, to deliver low-cost, carbon-negative distributed computing solutions. Crusoe Cloud is a managed cloud services platform powered by stranded energy that enables climate-friendly innovation in computationally intensive fields including artificial intelligence, graphics rendering and computational biology.

Crusoe are looking for people to deploy, repair and maintain our data centers in the oil field.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe operations and maintenance of the Company’s digital flare mitigation units and gas-fired reciprocating equipment
• Install computer equipment by connecting multiple units to the network on an oil pad
• Work with the Field Operations and Site Manager to make sure that the Company’s mobile data centers are operating correctly, focusing on optimizing the run time of the units.
• Develop and manage collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues and increase productivity.
• Partner with the network engineering team to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with the Field Operations and Site Manager to establish your schedule awareness.
• Work no more than 40 hours per week, unless otherwise directed in writing by the Company’s Field Operations and Site Manager.
• Perform other duties assigned to you by the Company

Requirements

• Electronics or IT background preferred
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend
• Sufficient manual dexterity

The Field Engineer is responsible for gaining experience and knowledge in the areas of research and development, cement job design and simulation, safety,

training, lab, operations, electronics, and dispatch. This position support Operations and assists as directed in pre-planning, job execution and post job analysis in the delivery of cementing services. Engineering Design Associates - Mechanical/Plumbing Engineer

EDA out of Casper, WY is hiring a mechanical/plumbing engineer.  EDA works in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls engineering.  

Mechanical/Plumbing Engineer: BSME or BSAE from an ABET accredited engineering program, with an EIT or PE license, and experience in the engineering and design of plumbing and/or HVAC systems for commercial, light commercial, institutional, and healthcare facilities. Responsibilities include complete performance of engineering tasks, including load calculations, equipment sizing, ductwork and piping design, economic analysis, project management. An ability to communicate effectively with owners, contractors and other design team members is essential for success in this position. Candidates with Revit and/or AutoCad are preferred.
