Grief in Canada
The Director of CERAH, Dr. Kathy Kortes-Miller, is on a research study related to grief. It is led by Susan Cadell in the School of Social Work at the University of Waterloo and involves many researchers in Canada and Australia. The purpose of this study is to advance public health understandings of grief and grief support. The results have the potential to help us to serve folks better.
We invite you to consider participating. To participate, you must be 18 years or older, a resident of Canada, and be grieving any kind of death 6 to 60 months earlier. This phase of the study involves an online survey that takes about 20-30 minutes to complete. There are questions about the person or people who died, your own grief and the supports that you did or did not access. A gift certificate is provided as a thank you if you take part in this survey.
Please visit the study website in English: https://uwaterloo.ca/grief-in-canada/ or French: https://uwaterloo.ca/deuil-au-canada/
