CERT Activation for
February 4th, 2024
Primary Mission: To assist and support the City of Long Beach in areas prone to flooding.
Activities will include logistical support, sandbag assistance, traffic control, community messaging, and support.
Shift: Sunday, 02/04/2024, from
08:00-14:00
AND
14:00-19:00
Partial shifts are needed and will be approved as well.
CERT volunteers should bring PPE, including a CERT vest, hat, water, flashlights, snacks, and other comfort items in their backpacks. Make sure to bring rain gear to stay warm and dry.
The check-in location will be at Vet Stadium between Clark and Lakewood off of E. Conant St. at the CERT command vehicle.
