Greetings from the Long Beach CERT Program!
Regular updates sent every second and fourth Tuesday of the month.
Virtual General Membership Meeting a success!
Thank you to all who participated in our virtual July general membership meeting. It was great to see many of your faces and catch up! For those unable to join us, we are working on providing access to the recording of the meeting soon. However, many of the discussion topics are included below for your reference.

Our August general membership meeting, scheduled for August 4th, will most likely occur via Zoom as well. A link to register for that meeting will be included in the next newsletter. Registration will be required in order to receive the zoom meeting details (this is a safety precaution). As a general notice, you do not need to have a webcam in order to participate in the meeting. If you need technical assistance with zoom, please let us know!

Take care,
Ana Jimenez
CERT Program Coordinator

National CERT Association has Launched!
The NCA is a non-profit organization, established in September 2019, that is a result of a partnership between FEMA and CERT leaders across the US. The NCA was created as a nationwide network of CERT program leaders and members that can communicate and share resources with each other. It is membership based, with an annual fee of $25 (plus credit card processing), and is completely optional.

If you are interested in learning more about the association, please visit www.nationalcert.org
