CERT Volunteers Needed 
for Upcoming Exercises
CERT Volunteer Opportunities
Monday, November 18th in Menlo Park.  

There are two sessions, morning and afternoon, volunteers can work one or both as fits their schedule (Breakfast and lunch will be provided). 

8:15 am
Check in for volunteers working morning session or all day
8:45 am - 10:00 am
Moulage for "injured" passengers, Caltrain safety briefing, Participant briefing and train boarding 
10:15 am - 11:30 am
Morning EXERCISE
11:45 am
Check-in for volunteers working afternoon only
12:00 noon
LUNCH
1:45 pm - 3:00 pm
Afternoon EXERCISE

Full details will be provided upon  registration.
 
This exercise is important on many levels, it is not only a Federal requirement for Caltrain, but it gives Caltrain, Fire/Rescue & Law Enforcement valuable training. Caltrain carries over 65,000 passengers each week. 
2019 Statewide Medical and Health Exercise 
FLOOD EXERCISE

The County has chosen to use the 2019 Statewide Medical  and Health Exercise as an opportunity to practice shelter  setup and operations in response to a catastrophic flood  scenario.

CERT members can sign up for the full day, or for one  shift. 
Shifts are as follows:
* Shift 1: Full Day Participation, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
* Shift 2: Shelter Setup, 7:00 AM - 9:30 AM
* Shift 3: Shelter Operations and Hotwash, 9:15 AM - 2:00  PM
* Shift 4: Hotwash and Demobilization, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
