The Sign-in Console

The Sign-in Console has always enabled volunteers to sign in and out of opportunities with ease. The ability to use it on any internet-connected device allows this versatile tool to fit all your needs & spaces.


With the addition of several new options, we are certain this feature will offer your organization a wide-range of ways to perfectly tailor your volunteer interaction!

Here are a few of the new options available when using the Sign-in Console:


  • NEW! Administrators can now manually adjust hours while signing volunteers out via the console in "Administration Mode"
  • NEW! Option to display a listing of names already signed in to the console on the welcome screen made visible to all volunteers
  • NEW! The ability to filter the Sign-in Console by Opportunity Tag
  • NEW! Option to allow volunteers to view their activity history directly via the Sign-in Console

Opportunity Stickers are a game changer

Last fall, we released our new feature: Opportunity Stickers. This feature is designed to enhance the volunteer experience - instantly elevating your Event Listing & Registration page with eye-catching icons and allowing your volunteers to effortlessly sort and filter with just a click!

Opportunity Stickers can quickly provide pertinent information, and volunteers are able to easily identify opportunities that fit their abilities, schedules, and interests based on the icons you have applied.

New Option for Walk-in Registration

Customize the system to meet your needs

If you have Walk-in Registration enabled in your system, you now have the choice to enable this feature on an opportunity-by-opportunity basis.


Walk-in Registration allows volunteers who are not registered for an opportunity on the current day to register for any walk-in opportunities that are available. This also allows new volunteers to create an account through the Sign-in Console as a walk-in. This new option gives you full control on deciding which opportunities are best suited for day-of registrations.

Our partnership with Twilio, a third-party text messaging provider, gives you the ability to send texts to your volunteers directly through CERVIS. Plus! If you are a non-profit organization, you may be eligible for Twilio's Impact Access Program, which includes a kickstart credit!
