Duplicating Your Opportunities

Quickly create a new opportunity with just a few clicks

We know creating the same type of opportunities over and over can be laborious. For any opportunities that repeat or share similar characteristics, we recommend using the Duplicate Opportunity feature to save time! With just a few simple steps, you can use a preexisting event or project as your template, copy over all details, and make any needed edits for the new opportunity. It is important to note that when duplicating opportunities, volunteer registrations will not copy over to your new event or project.

Automatic Thank You Messages

An easy way to thank your volunteers!

Did you know you can enable a Thank You email to be automatically sent to volunteers after they have participated in an event? Thank You emails can be enabled on an opportunity-by-opportunity basis and are a great way to continue volunteer engagement without any extra work for you. Plus, these emails are completely customizable and can be easily personalized with each volunteer's name.


While thanking volunteers, organizations are also taking the opportunity to:


  • Highlight big needs or upcoming events
  • Encourage volunteers to register again by highlighting the Event Listing link
  • Share a link to your organization's donation page
  • Include a link for a post-event or volunteer follow-up survey using a tool like Google Forms or Survey Monkey

Scheduled Posting Date

Our favorite "set-it and forget-it" feature

Every opportunity you create gives you the timesaving option to set the Scheduled Posting Date. This feature allows you to choose your specified date and time to automatically publish the opportunity to your Event Listing page and gives you the freedom to create opportunities when it's convenient for you.


This is the perfect tool for high interest events where you anticipate registrations filling quickly, but it can be used for any event you are looking to set and forget!

Using the Awards Management feature is an easy and exciting way to engage with your volunteers and recognize their hard work and commitment. With a few simple clicks, you can enable badges to be awarded based on volunteer activity, monthly hours, times served, or any other action you'd like to recognize.
