Have You Heard?

Paid Events can be enabled in your CERVIS System

Did you know you can create events in CERVIS that require a fee to be paid before the registration is completed? Enabling this feature in your system requires a one-time set-up fee with CERVIS and will allow you to use a PayPal Business account to receive payments from volunteers or participants as part of their opportunity registration.

Here are a few ways organizations are utilizing this type of event:

  • Orientations, classes, or trainings that have an associated fee
  • Opportunities with an attached payment required to register
  • Collecting dues from members
  • Offsetting costs of supplies needed for a service opportunity

Your Organization Information

Keep your "Contact Us" page current

Your "Contact Us" page within your CERVIS console is a vital way for volunteers and potential volunteers to get in touch with your organization. We know that with staff transitions and baton handoffs it can easily become outdated.

Anyone with Administrator access can update the contact information, and it just takes a minute to confirm yours is correct. While in the System Configuration, go to the Organization Information section and review the information listed. For additional guidance on how to edit this information, click here!

Printable Volunteer Activity History

With newly added QR Code feature

We know that keeping a record of volunteer hours is not only important to your organization, but also to your volunteers. This is why we've made it simple to print a complete and reliable record of the hours a volunteer has served with you. And the best part, your volunteers can download this report all by themselves, saving you valuable time!

Plus! These activity reports automatically include two easy methods to verify hours. Recipients of the report can either scan the newly included Verification QR Code or visit the listed link and enter the Verification Code to confirm that the report has not been tampered with.

Click here for easy-to-follow steps and a video tutorial walking you through how to download these activity history reports. These resources are perfect to share with your volunteers and your staff.
