Upcoming Professional Development Opportunities
2022 NOAA Cooperative Research Programs (CoRP) Science Symposium
The event will be held from July 25th to 27th, 2022 at the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) of Colorado State University located in Fort Collins, CO
Fellows are required to stay in one of thehotels identified by the symposium organizers.
Fellows who attended the NOAA EPP/MSI 10th Biennial Education and Science forum can re-use their poster/presentation for this event. CESSRST fellows who will be conducting their NERTO internships (virtual/hybrid) in July 2022 are encouraged to participate.
The event will be held from July 28th to 29th, 2022, in Boulder, CO.
Updates on the Colloquium will be provided by mid-June 2022. Do not make any hotel reservations for the Colloquium yet.
2022 Collective Madison Meeting
The American Meteorological Society (AMS), partnering with NOAA will be hosting the Collective Madison Meeting (CMM) from 8 to 12 August 2022 in Madison, Wisconsin.
The CMM is made up of the following Conferences: the 25th Conference on Satellite Meteorology, Oceanography, and Climatology joint with the NOAA Satellite Meeting, the 17th Conference on Polar Meteorology and Oceanography, and the 16th Conference on Cloud Physics/16th Conference on Atmospheric Radiation.
All attendees must registerhereto attend the conference. Fellows are encouraged to present (oral and poster) and/or attend the conferences. Be sure to register by 07/01/2022 in order to receive the lower registration rate.
Travel funds will be available for CESSRST cohort full-time students. Apply for travel requisition by emailing cessrstpayments@ccny.cuny.edu.
