CETL is here for adjuncts!

CETL is here to support you with practical resources and flexible opportunities for professional growth. Our upcoming November CETL Panel offers a chance to connect with colleagues and exchange ideas on topics shaped by faculty feedback. We’re also offering workshops on DesignPLUS and UDOIT Advantage to help you save time while creating engaging, accessible Canvas courses.

As the semester continues, I encourage you to take advantage of the resources and opportunities that best fit your needs and schedule. Thank you for the valuable contributions you make to our students and the Reynolds community!

CANVAS UPDATES

SPEED GRADER

Group Excuse Consistency

In SpeedGrader, excusing a group submission excuses every student in the group, while excusing an individual student in the Gradebook excuses only that student, leaving the rest of the group unaffected. Previously, excusing a group submission from SpeedGrader only excused the individual student, leaving the rest of the group members unexcused.

CHANGE BENEFIT

Consistent excusing behavior for groups: Instructors excuse a whole group in one step instead of repeating the action for each member, which saves time and reduces the risk of leaving a student unexcused by mistake.
