During the fall, we began an effort to resume to a more normal, pre-COVID state. We returned to in-person classrooms, and most of us returned to the office again with renewed optimism that we were slowly crawling out of the COVID hold we were all held hostage to for so many months, though still cautious as looming viral variants kept us under constant guard. And as we come to the end of the fall, we reflect on the previous months, proud of all that CEWIT and Stony Brook University has been able to accomplish over this period as we look toward the winter and the new year with hope and optimism.
In November, CEWIT hosted its 17th annual international conference with close to 30 expert speakers sharing their vision of a new technology-centric society, which will be driven by the creativity of a new generation of entrepreneurs and researchers with ideas that will lead the next evolution in the industry. CEWIT continues to be the go-to center for cutting edge research and solution-based resolve, with CEWIT’s incubator system nurturing new and exciting ideas brought to fruition with the expert help of CEWIT’s leadership.
And during the past few months, there has been hope and opportunity, and CEWIT has most certainly taken advantage of that. Our researchers, faculty and students continue to strive for quality, while willing to take the initiatives and risks necessary to achieve perfection and results. Most of all, CEWIT appreciates all you have done to support our efforts to meet our mission.
All this is a reminder that we can continue to achieve our goals despite the adversities, know that we are Stronger Together, and create a culture of leadership while recognizing the winds of change.
Let CEWIT help you lead the way to your future, and to your success.
