Charterholder Waiver
for Series 65 Exam

We want to flag the following regulatory exemption for the Series 65 exam for CFA Society Boston members who are interested.

Charterholders receive a waiver from the Uniform Investment Adviser Examination (series 65) from all the states requiring a licensing exam for investment advisers and investment adviser representatives.

CFA Institute has released the 2020 edition of the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) set to take effect January 1, 2020. This marks an important milestone in the evolution of the GIPS standards to ensure their relevance for all asset classes and asset managers. 

The updated GIPS standards are based on industry best practice and input received during the public comment period. The changes empower more investment managers and asset owners to embrace investment performance transparency and industry-wide comparability.
