The 2014-2015 season was another successful year for CFC. We are sending 12 teams in next weekend's Connecticut State Cup Finals and we hope to add to our total of 51 State Cup Championship Best of luck to all the teams. In the ECNL and NPL Girls Leagues, CFC went 6-1-5 against our ECNL Connecticut rival, FSA/SoccerPlus, and over the next two weeks we hope to qualify all 4 Girls ECNL teams to the National Championships in Seattle.
On the boys side, 2014 saw tremendous success. Our 4 United teams advanced to the State Cup Finals and two were crowned Champions. Our U17's coached by Graciano Brito then advanced to the Region I semi final. 3 of our teams Advanced to the New England Premiership finals with two subsequently advancing on to the US Club NPL National Championships. Our U16 squad coached by Eric Da Costa advanced to the final and captured the first boys National Championship in club history. CFC Coaching Staff The CFC coaching staff now includes 31 coaches who are either head or assistant coaches at Connecticut and North East colleges. No other club in the nation can compete with our staff as far as overall college exposure for potential college soccer players. One of our coaches, Sean Driscoll was just hired as the Head Coach at Princeton University on the women's side, making him the Seventh Division 1 Head coach in the club. We also have Three Division 2 Head coaches and Two Division 3 Head Coaches.
