A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Cape Fear Community College
Dear Sea Devil Community,

Thanksgiving is upon us and another successful fall semester is close to an end. I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our wonderful faculty and staff for all they do to support, encourage, and inspire our students to achieve their academic and career goals.

CFCC is grateful to the faculty, staff, and students who worked earnestly to make our Fall Open Houses a success. Prospective students from all over our community had an opportunity to explore CFCC's top-ranked programs, talk to faculty and current students, and tour our campuses. We look forward to helping them begin or further their education journeys at CFCC.

Our Winter Session still has open seats for current students looking to get ahead for the next semester, as well as visiting students wanting to save money on a transferable credit. Please act now as classes are starting soon.

Spring registration is well under way. There is still plenty of time to register; however, popular classes do fill up quickly. If you or someone you know is considering registering, don't delay. Online registration is readily available and our academic advisors are ready to assist.

Each edition of our newsletter is packed with upcoming events, spotlight stories, student successes, and event photos. We hope no one misses the chance to read these inspiring stories. Be sure to click “view entire message” at the bottom of each newsletter to allow the entire email to open in your inbox. You can also visit our archives webpage to catch up on previous newsletters.

As always, thank you for your continued support. Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday season.

Sincerely,
Jim Morton, CFCC President

Donations from the fundraiser will benefit CFCC's Outboard Systems Program and will be used to purchase equipment needed to train future outboard maintenance specialists. Thank you to all those who attended and made the fundraiser a success.
