Dear Sea Devil Community,
As we approach the end of the semester, I want to reflect on the accomplishments and successes of our students. Commencement is just around the corner, it is a time of celebration and recognition for their hard work and dedication.
April has been an exhilarating month, marked by our student recognition ceremony, athletic banquet, and the opening of the student art exhibition. These events have provided our students with a platform to showcase their talents, achievements, and creative works.
The invaluable contributions of our committed faculty and staff continue to enrich the experiences of CFCC students. Their passion, expertise, and tireless efforts help cultivate a supportive environment that encourages our students' academic success, personal growth, and professional development.
I am so proud of the work we do to expand opportunities for our students and invest in our community. In April alone, we announced a new transfer agreement with UNCW for Oceanography, launched a fundraising campaign to raise $1 million for nursing scholarships, and grew in the state rankings for faculty and staff pay.
With Summer and Fall 2023 registration now open, our students are already planning their classes, extracurricular activities, potential internships, and work-study opportunities for the next academic year. Together, our students, faculty, and staff form a strong, dedicated community that strives for excellence in everything we do. I am confident that our collective efforts will continue to propel us toward success and positively impact our community.
Thank you for your continued support. Your commitment to our mission helps us improve and grow. We take pride in providing programs of exceptional quality, and we remain committed to our mission of fostering excellence in education.
Sincerely,
