Dear Sea Devil Community,
On Friday, May 13, we held commencement ceremonies for our Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 graduates. The Wilson Center set a momentous stage for these new graduates. It is so rewarding for me to see them move forward to the next step in their academic or career journeys. I wish our grads all the best and encourage them to keep in touch and share their successes with us. CFCC alumni are inspirational to our current students and those considering enrollment. Once a Sea Devil, always a Sea Devil.
I want to thank our incredible students, faculty, and staff for making Spring 2022 a positive and productive term. You did an outstanding job during a challenging time!
Many students are enrolling in summer classes at CFCC. Our enrollment rate is up! The full 10-week summer session has just begun as well as the first of two 5-week mini sessions. Mini-sessions are a great way for all students to satisfy some required credits. Our 8-week summer session begins June 6, and the second 5-week session begins June 29. CFCC is proud to offer so many options for students to catch up or get ahead. Summer classes can be found
here.
In addition, our new summer short-term classes have just been announced. There is truly something for everyone in our
Economic and Workforce Development summer course catalog. Students can train for an essential career, grow their professional toolkits, or take a personal enrichment class just for fun.
We're also busy enrolling students for the Fall 2022 term. Our initial enrollment numbers look strong, and I again want to acknowledge the hard work of CFCC's incredible faculty and staff. I am so proud of all we're accomplishing and of the tenacity and dedication of our entire team.
Cape Fear Community College's success reflects the tremendous support we receive from our community. Together, we are making a long-lasting impact in the Cape Fear region.
Go Sea Devils!
Sincerely,
